We currently have two types of accommodation for our guests to choose from. Both are perfect to host you, your friends and/or your family. The "Casa Clarita" Apartment "Casa Clarita" is a 70 square metre apartment made up of three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen. It also has an outdoor patio surrounded by olive trees which is an ideal relaxation spot. This is the perfect option for families with children or a group of friends. Double Ensuite Rooms All our double ensuite rooms are simply furnished yet at the same time modern and equipped with every comfort including: air conditioning, heating, alarm system and free Wi-Fi. These rooms have several booking options depending on your needs, such as room-only, room with breakfast included (consisting of homemade cakes and jams), half board as well as full board. Tenuta Linazza boasts a beautiful outdoor swimming pool, with a small adjacent bar. Here you can enjoy blissful moments of relaxation and tranquility whilst being surrounded by nature and our olive trees. The use of the swimming pool is free for guests. Our restaurant is located inside the farmhouse and here you can taste and savour the freshest and most traditional dishes of Salento. In summer, lunch and dinner are served on our outdoor patio which is surrounded by olive trees. Whilst in winter, dining takes place in our large and welcoming indoor room which is also ideal for events and private parties. The menu is always based on seasonal products, from fish that is bought fresh daily at the port and vegetables grown in our own organic garden to the fresh pasta handmade every day by Emilio, chef and owner of Tenuta Linazza. For the De Matteis family, the love and passion for producing extra virgin olive oil began at the end of the 19th century. The craftsmanship and authenticity of the process remains the same today as it was back then. The estate is home to approx 6,000 trees, 2,000 of which are centuries-old whilst the others have been planted more recently. There are several different varieties of olives including Cellina di Nardò, Carolea, Frantoio and Ogliarola Leccese, all of which are grown organically. The olives are harvested directly from the tree using mechanical rakes and then transported immediately to the mill which is also located on the estate and used exclusively by the De Matteis family. The cold extraction process involves the olives being crushed by granite millstones and then rope or rush mats are used for the pressing stage. The separation of the liquids (oil and vegetable water) takes place naturally, i.e. the oil rises to the top naturally and is extracted without any mechanical or chemical force. The olive oil’s organic certificate guarantees product wholesomeness and therefore makes it suitable for daily nutrition and in particular for children. The taste and aroma are perfect for those who love delicate flavours and combinations. The extra virgin olive oil is available to buy in tins in the following sizes: 500ml, 1 litre and 3 litres as well as in bottles of 750ml. This can be easily visited via the sea. Once you enter the water, just a few strokes are needed to reach the entrance of the cave, which contains stalactites and rocks that together with the water are coloured emerald green. This is due to the refraction of the sun's rays. Throughout the day, the cave changes colour providing an impressive spectacle at any time.
The name of the cave comes from the dialect term "zinzuli", meaning rags, and is due to the karst formations, in particular stalactites, which hang from the cave’s ceiling and resemble old rags hanging down. The formation of the cave, which occurred through marine erosion, can be traced back to the Pliocene period (5.4 - 2.4 million years ago).
In Marina Serra, located in the Tricase area, there is one of the most beautiful natural pools in the Mediterranean which is perfectly protected by the rocks. In this little corner of paradise, the waves driven by the wind have shaped the sandstone rocks to create a cove of calm crystal-clear water.
Santa Maria di Leuca is located in the extreme southern tip of Salento and is the finis terrae (the end of the earth). Leuca is renowned for its 19th-century villas and its crystal-clear sea with numerous caves suitable for swimming. Don't miss the sanctuary and the monumental aqueduct staircase and waterfall.
According to tradition, the Turkish warriors who besieged Otranto in the 15th century landed here in Baia dei Turchi. Sandy and pristine, the bay belongs to the prized protected oasis of the Alimini Lakes, one of the most important ecosystems in Salento and Puglia.

Nestled in the spectacular rocky setting of the Zinzulusa Cave, this continuously changing seawater pool takes its name from the nearby cave. Open from June to September, it is the ideal place for children and families who want to spend a day at the pool but don’t want to give up the sea because below the pool there is a ladder that leads directly to the sea.
This city of art in Southern Italy is known as "the Florence of the South" or the "Florence of the Baroque". Its ancient Messapian origins and archaeological remains of Roman rule blend with the richness and exuberance of the typically seventeenth-century Baroque of the churches and palaces in the centre, built in ‘pietra leccese’ (Lecce stone), a malleable limestone that is very suitable for carving with a chisel.
A fishing and seaside town which boasts ancient origins as the heir of the Roman Castrum Minervae. It was one of the first cities in Salento to be elevated to the rank of county. Places of interest to visit are the castle and the castle walls, the church of the Annunziata and the nearby Bosco dello Scarra or Parco delle Querce.
